King Valley Wine Club Membership - FAQs

 

1. What is the King Valley Wine Club?

The King Valley Wine Club delivers members a case of twelve wines from the vineyards and winemakers of the King Valley four times per year. Each case contains a mix of wines from small and large vineyards and across a range of price points, ensuring members have the perfect wine match for every occasion.

2. How do I join the King Valley Wine Club?

Founding Membership is being limited to only 200 members. This is to ensure we can offer a range of wines to include smaller vineyards and smaller, more specialised, wine releases for Founding Members to enjoy.

You can sign up to become a Founding Member from the Wine Club menu in our website header. You can also gift Wine Club membership to another person during checkout – what a fabulous present for the wine lover in your life!

Simply choose the mix of wine you would like in your seasonal collection and we will do the rest.

  • White Wine Collection
  • Red Wine Collection
  • Mixed Collection
  • And indicate if you like sparkling varieties and/or Rosé

3. How are the wines chosen?

The wines to be included in each case will be chosen by the wineries, matched to the season, and will be accompanied by tasting notes. So you’ll always know how to match the bottle to your meal, or whether it’s a wine you could consider saving for a special occasion. 

4. How much is King Valley Wine Club Founding Membership

Founding Membership price for the seasonal case of wine will be:

  • White Wine Collection - $295 for 12 bottles
  • Red Wine Collection- $315 for 12 bottles
  • Mixed Red and White Collection - $305 for 12 bottles

All Founding Members will receive their collections with free delivery Australia-wide.

5. Is there a membership fee to join the Wine Club?

No, there are no set up or ongoing fees.

6. How much do I pay for delivery?

Delivery for all King Valley Wine Club Founding Members is free for their seasonal wine cases for the life of their membership.

7. When will my King Valley Wine Club seasonal collection arrive?

King Valley Wine Cellars will deliver four seasonally matched wine cases a year. Your collection will be dispatched in the beginning of the following months:

  • December - Summer
  • March - Autumn
  • June - Winter
  • September – Spring

We will always send you an email before your next membership collection is dispatched, so you’ll have a prompt to make any changes to your Account.

8. When will payment for my wine case be taken?

Payment for the first case of your membership will be taken at the time of signing up for the Wine Club. Ongoing payments will be taken after you have been emailed, and just prior to the dispatch of your next seasonal case.

9. How do I buy a Wine Club membership as a gift?

Simply put the recipients address into the shipping address at checkout, and leave a gift message in the text box. We will deliver the message along with the Collection to the giftee!

All membership details can be transferred or changed in the future by accessing your online account.

10. How do I pause or cancel my King Valley Wine Club membership?

Your Wine Club membership can be paused or cancelled in between seasonal shipments. Simply log into your account on the website and amend your membership frequency to pause or to cancel.

11. I have cancelled my King Valley Wine Club membership, how can I rejoin?

We are happy to have you back! However our member numbers are limited and you may have to rejoin the waitlist for a new membership to become available.

12. How do I change my payment details?

Log into your account on the website and amend your payment details. Please contact us if you would like assistance either by contacting us through your member account portal; by emailing member@kingvalleywine.com.au or by phoning (03) 5727 3887.

13. How are my payment details stored?

We store no payment information directly, all payment information is stored in a third-party cloud-based data hosting and payment processing facility which is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant.

14. How do I change my delivery address or delivery instructions?

Log into your account on the website and amend your delivery details. Please contact us if you would like assistance either by contacting us through your member account portal; by emailing member@kingvalleywine.com.au; or by phoning (03) 5727 3887.

15. How can I order more of a wine that I love?

The full range of wine will be available on the website soon. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us and we will source a wine you love for delivery direct to your door. Please note that some wines supplied to King Valley Wine Club Founding Members may not be available through our retail or online store, or may be sold out.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

16. Where do you ship to?

We ship Australia-wide, with the exception of shipping to the Northern Territory due to legislation restrictions. We do not currently ship internationally.

17. How much are the delivery charges?

King Valley Wine Club Founding Members will receive their seasonal wine collection with free delivery.

18. How do I know if my order has been shipped?

You will receive an email notification as soon as your order is on its way. This will contain a tracking number, so you can plan your next wine tasting!

19. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

All deliveries generally arrive within 5 days. Although, on occasion both Australia Post and courier companies may take a bit longer. You will be able to track your delivery through the tracking information provided. If you have any concerns about your delivery, please get in touch and we will look into it for you.

PLACING AN ORDER

20. What payment types are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, ShopPay & GPay.

When you give us your credit or debit card details you are confirming that you are either the card holder, or that you have permission from the card holder to use the card for the purpose of ordering from us.

21. Is there an age restriction?

By placing an order with us you are confirming that you are 18 years or older, in line with your acceptance of the age verification pop-up required to enter the website. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.

22. Can my online order be cancelled?

Absolutely, there is no lock-in to this Wine Club. We know you’ll stay because you’ll love it. If ordering products online and you wish to cancel, we will try our best to assist. Please contact as soon as possible in that instance, as we are unable to cancel an order once it has been processed and shipped.

We reserve the right to cancel any orders we cannot fulfill for any reason. If we cancel your order, we will contact you to inform you of the cancellation and refund any money you have paid us for that order, or to arrange a substitute order.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

23. My order arrived damaged, what can I do?

We are very sorry that your order arrived damaged and we will gladly send you a replacement or process a refund.  Please contact us at member@kingvalleywine.com.au and we will work with you to determine the best option for you.

24. I wish to return my undamaged order, what can I do?

Should you wish to return an item due to change of mind, your item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it and in the original packaging. Please note that for alcohol we are not able to accept a return of an item that has been opened.
