Bike & Barrel - Pinotage 2019

Pinotage is a cross between the two French grape varietals Pinot Noir and Cinsaut. The Bike & Barrel Pinotage 2019 is matured in French oak for 18 months, and shows a palate of complex black fruits and a fine, juicy tannin. 

Bike & Barrel is a family run vineyard in the Alpine Valley specialising in lesser known varietals including pinotage, fiano, schioppettino and refosco dal peduncolo rosso.

The rich, savoury notes of the Pinotage will pair well with a range of hard and complex cheeses, it will hold up to BBQ meats, as well as darker meat cuts, Mediterranean style foods or pizza.
