The La Zona Barbera exhibits a rich purple colour with crimson edges and fragrant aromas of red cherries, berries and spice. A medium-bodied wine with naturally high acidity, the palate has flavours of ripe cherry, dried herbs, and chocolate, rounded out by toasty vanilla oak and balanced with fine tannins. The wine is ideally paired with tomato based pasta dishes, braised veal or pizza. Drink now or cellar to 2025+.
