Darling Estate - Pinot Noir 2017

Darling Estate’s Koombahla vineyard is on the hillside in the upper king Valley.  The property has been in the Darling family for more than 100 years and since 1990 brings a focus on French winemaking styles to this predominantly Italian area.

The 2017 Pinot Noir combines black cherries and the forest floor. It has spent some time in oak and is a complex and interesting take on this varietal.

The 2017 Pinot Noir would match well with rich meat, including duck and light game, as well as stronger hard cheeses and mushroom based sauces.
