Eaglerange Estate- 3 Daughters Montepulciano 2021

The Eagle Range Estate Vineyard is located near the town of Ovens in Victoria's Alpine Valley. The land had previously been used for a variety of enterprises over the years including cattle, hay, chestnut and walnut trees, but the winemaking venture had long been in the back of winemaker Frank Ivone with the first vines were planted in 1995.

Montepulciano is a wonderful medium bodied wine made from the varietal grape of the same name. Grown mainly in central Italy, particularly in the Abruzzo region. This Montepulciano offers up hints of cherry, blackberry, boysenberry and plum, soft tannins, balanced acidity and juicy fruit flavours are a common trait of Montepulciano.

Serve with beef Bolognese, brisket, meatloaf and fatty fish, such as salmon, tuna or mackerel. Perfect with peperoni pizza.
