The King River Estate Merlot has classic notes of blackberry, mulberry, cedar and stewed plums on the nose and palate, it also has soft tannins to round out a balanced finish.

A versatile wine, the Merlot 2014 will pair equally well with chargrilled red meats, red fruit sauces or chocolate desserts.

King River Estate is located on the banks of the King River in the King Valley and uses a traditional yet innovative approach to winemaking allowing for natural fermentation resulting in complex, soft and textural wines.
