Sam Miranda - Tempranillo 2021

The Miranda family has been making wine since the 1930's and have more recently established the vineyard and cellar door in the King Valley, specialising in wines from their Italian heritage.

Classic dark cherry and spice aromas are balanced well by the brooding ripe plum and tobacco leaf flavours on the palate. A wine with substance that will match well with full-flavoured meals.

Grown on our Estate vineyard at Oxley at the gateway to the King Valley. Perfect ripening conditions in the growing season allowed the classic varietal fruit flavours to develop while retaining the natural. acidity in the berries. Open top fermentation with minimal handling ensured a soft and Savoury structure added by the maturation in large format oak barrels. Made in an easy drinking style to be consumed now or over the next 7-10 years.
