Symphonia - La Solista Tempranillo
Symphonia - La Solista Tempranillo
Tempranillo is Spain's most important red grape variety and is now widely planted throughout Australia. It was planted at the Symphonia vineyard more than 20 years ago and has proven to be one of the most successful varieties in the King Valley region. our cool climate and 400 metre elevation means that budburst occurs late with the growing season being relatively short and harvest occurring in mid-March.
The wine is made in the early drinking, medium-bodied "Joven" style and is ready to enjoy upon release. It is deliciously vibrant and fresh with cherry and boysenberry fruit aromas dominating. A touch of subtle oak adds deeper flavours and a fine texture. Enjoyable with a broad range of tapas style dishes
