The grape Gros Manseng originates from the south-west of France and is characterised by thick skinned berries with high natural acidity which means the grapes are not harvested until late in the season, often not until mid-autumn.
The Symphonia Manseng 2021 has a lovely backbone of natural acidity with voluptuous flavours and mouth filling texture. The structure of this wine is unique with ultrafine tannins giving a powerful edge - it is a wine that stands out from the crowd and will show further complexity with bottle age. A lovely accompaniment to French style dishes with a white sauce or a selection of creamy cheeses.
